Aah, summer is coming to an end. My summer was mostly spent indoors, but I did make it to the beach with loved ones, so for that, Iโm satisfied. I mostly spent the summer watching some amazing shows. Some of those being White Lotus, I literally binged this in like two days and Nine Perfect Strangers, which I also binged in like two days.
If I had to choose the best part of my summer, it was definitely walking to get boba tea each week. They opened a boba tea spot near me and itโs so delicious. Iโm a sucker for iced jasmine tea with brown sugar boba. Yum!
The reason this was my favorite part of the summer, is because I was able to see other peopleโs outfits while I was walking to get my boba. Thereโs something about seeing a well-put-together outfit that inspires me so much. I was someone who wore sweat pants and my comfy (imagine an oversized hoodie that you can tuck your knees into) basically every single day in 2020. I felt very little inspiration when it came to getting dressed. Plus, I was working from home, so I was like, why get dressed when I can wear pajamas?
Iโm so glad I got over that phase. Wearing clothes that make you happy is definitely a mood booster. Thereโs a time and place for comfy, cozy items, but thereโs also a time and place for good fashion.
Recently, Iโve been loving this YouTube series by KarenBritChick, where she interviews strangers in New York about their outfits. Itโs so cool seeing people light up when they share the story behind the pieces they are wearing.
That series really inspires me, which is why I wanted to share some of my most worn summer outfits with you.
My Most Worn Summer Outfits:
1. Passion Lilie Dress
This dress is handwoven, hand-dyed, and ethically made. For more details about the company, check out this post. I love this dress (similar here) because yellow screams summer and it reminds me of sunshine. Itโs also super easy to throw on and looks great with sneakers.
2. Thrifted Jumpsuit
My fiance calls this my โlittle house on the prairieโ fit, but Iโll take it. This thrifted jumpsuit is so versatile. It can be worn as is, underneath a cardigan, or with a shirt on top. Itโs simple, comfortable, and a great color!
3. Hand-Me-Down Tank
My friend Barbara, also the host of the podcast, Trash Talking with Eco-Warriors, gifted me this orange polka dot tank. Itโs such a fun pattern and pairs perfectly with my thrifted green shorts. It makes me feel like a carrot, but in a cute way.

Iโm really curious to see what my most worn outfits will be for the Fall. Iโm already super inspired by all of the fall scents and flavors โ yes, I already bought quite a few pumpkin treats!
