The flower industry can be wasteful and expensive, especially when it comes to weddings. According to The Knot, “the average wedding flower cost is $2,300“. That’s a lot of money! The average order for silk flowers is closer to $500! If you’re a bride (or groom) who doesn’t have the budget to spend on real flowers, don’t worry, there are some great female-owned companies that offer beautiful flowers for rent. In this video, I’ll be unboxing flowers from two companies I love, Something Borrowed Blooms & Silk Stem Collective. These are two of the best places to rent silk wedding flowers.
1. Something Borrowed Blooms:
Something Borrowed Blooms is a female-owned company based out of Louisiana that ships anywhere in the United States & Canada, with the exception of Hawaii. Something Borrowed Blooms has the most amazing Facebook group of real brides asking questions, sharing inspirational photos, and offering wedding advice. Overall, their brand, products, and community are truly amazing. Full transparency, This is where I rented my flowers from. I was gifted a floral credit in exchange for creating Instagram content for them. With or without the collaboration, I had my mind set on using their florals for my wedding.
They offer home decor, neon signs, vases, flowers (centerpieces, bouquets, boutonnieres, corsages, aisle markers, garlands, hair pins, toss bouquets), and more!
